Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting from Salem, Indiana. As the apostle Paul with his many voyages of churches, I continue my visit of some churches before heading back to Haiti, my beloved country. From Lawrence in Kansas, I went to Mount Pleasant, Iowa. It was a blessing to reconnect with Tata & Mama Huff, my high school professors from Milundu/Vanga. Here we met with some mission minded folks, shared about our work. In this church, two volunteer members touched my heart. One feeds the whole church the fish he catches while the other has taken on the duty of professionally shining the floor of the entire church building. What a mission!

From Mt. Pleasant I went to Fort Wayne, Indiana where I reconnected with another Milundu professor: Tata Leon Emmert. We shared in their Tuesday Bible study group before heading to Salem.

When I think about all these interstates voyages and the mission we do in Haiti, I wonder who the real missionaries are. Deep down I honestly believe the real missionaries are those individual and churches who day after day:

- pray for missionaries who are on the mission fields,
-sacrificially support the missionaries on the field with their money,
-take their time to send emails, cards, letters,
-forget how big the phone bills are to call those on the fields,
-forget their needs to send boxes and packages of all kinds to those on the fields,
-risk their lives to visit the missionaries on the fields,
-forget all hygiene principals to get their hands dirty on different projects on the mission fields,
-open their hearts and their homes to welcome those on the fields in their homes,
-don't hesitate to spend their money to feed the visiting missionaries,
-take their time, leave their homes, put their vehicles and their life on line driving the missionaries around in this huge and big country,

The mission is all of us serving the Master. Alone, we can not do it.

Thank you for being who you are and doing what you do.

Yours in Haiti

Dear Friends,

I think this journal needs no comment.  I love supporting this wonderful missionary couple and feel a part of a great work for the Lord.  We need approximately $600 a month of additional pledges to have their ministry 100% underwritten.  Tell their story to those you know have a heart for missions and see if they would like to join us in this exciting ministry.

Yours,
