Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting and peace of our Lord on all of you. This Thursday October 4, Kihomi and her assistant left the house at 5 AM to go Jackzil for a visit and a training session. Jackzil is a small fishing village by the ocean, close to the city of Trou du Nord and almost one mile to the industrial Park of Caracol.

The community is underdeveloped compared with many Haitian villages. The pastor is our 2008 graduate. In this church, they have no women activities and never heard of what goes on with women in the Haitian Baptist Convention.

Kihomi and Guerline, her assistant, spent their time teaching them about the women ministries before installing a committee.  The president of the committee is Nadia, a very smart high school women, and was elected by all the members. They worked with 56 women, 6 men and 54 children.

Please be praying for this church and Kihomi’s many travels in the months to come.

Here is the example of her schedule this month:

Wednesday Oct.10 – Baptist church of Darbonne, South of Port-au-Prince

Thursday 11-12 - training session in Port-au-Prince, West of Haiti

Saturday 13 - Training session in Limbe, North

Thursday 17 - Baptist church of Danda et Dolval, Northeast

Saturday 20 -Baptist church of Acul-Samedi, Northeast

Sunday 21 - Baptist church of Perches, Northeast

Thursday 25 -Baptist church of Trou du Nord and Juchereau

October 31 to November 5: visit six churches in the lower- Plateau Central area.

Much time is spent counseling and mentoring women in the days were there is no meeting.

Thank you to all of you for praying and supporting God’s work in Haiti.

Yours,

Nzunga and Kihomi

Dear Supporters,

Kihomi’s travels are legendary as she is willing to go anywhere she is needed.  She is like the Energizer Bunny always on the go. The new truck has helped make her work much easier knowing she has reliable transportation.  You can look at the faces in the crowd and see how much her presence means to these people. Please pray for her safety and that her efforts will bear much fruit for the Kingdom.

In His Name,
