Dear Loved Ones,

Peace of the new Born Jesus to all of you.

Since the passage of Hurricane Sandy, we have been having a lot of rain. Almost everyday, we have rain. We are enjoying the water it brings and the cool weather. However, the rain has increased the cases of cholera epidemic. Many persons are dying.

Many people are also suffering of famine. Food has become very expensive to the point that many families can not eat as they would wish.

With too much rain, the fields will not produce enough food and we are doomed to having shortage of food for a long time.

Please be praying for our country that we can have enough food to feed its growing population.

Yours in Haiti,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear Friends,

Please pray that there will not be famine due to shortages and prices.  Not long ago this happened and some Haitians were eating “dirt cookies” to have something to fill their stomachs.  Haiti seems to go from one crisis to another caused by weather, earthquakes or political upheaval.  It is a hard place to live and to be a missionary among so many needs.  Please also pray our missionaries do not get discouraged and the Lord will remain close.

Yours,
