Dear Loved Ones,

Happy New Year to each and everyone of you.

It is Wednesday morning and the eye clinic is busy. It has some patients being seen by our two doctors: Dr. Jacques Julien and Dr. Guerline Roney. In the operating room some operations are being perfomed. In the one patient waiting room, the group from Kansas (led by Mike Lawrence from Chanute, KS) is busy painting. The group consists of six people from Chanute, KS and four friends from different churches in the Kansas City area. In spite of the rain that has dampened their stay, and the fact their luggage was left still in the states, the group is enjoying their stay so far.

Patients and staff are all happy to see the love in action from friends who have come from so far away.
