Dear Loved Ones,
Greeting. Friday May 3 and Saturday May 4 were blessed days for our
brothers and sisters in the city of Gros
Morne. I took with me my team of eye clinic
staff people to provide services to the people of that city. We were impressed
to see how many people were in need of their eye care. Some came with serious
complains while others needed just reading glasses or sun glasses. We were
well equipped to provide to their needs. Those who needed more testing and
operations were asked to follow us in Cap-Haitian were we could help them.
34 pairs sun glasses were given out and over 40 pair of reading glasses
were served.
There are no real ministries if we don't go where our people are with
their so many needs.
Thank you for standing by our side to provide comfortable transport and the
necessary means to care for those in need.
Yours,
Nzunga & Kihomi
Dear Friends,
We now have a place to get reading glasses for 50 cents each and sunglasses for a quarter due to the guidance of Kristy Engel. Many of those who come to the clinic only need reading glasses. The lack of sunglasses in a country with a tropical sun also causes many of the problems the eye clinic sees. Now with the availability of the truck the eye clinic can extend its services beyond Cap-Haitian to small villages.
Thank you for being part of thus ministry that is essential for the Haitian people.
Peace,
Dennis Shewell
