Children receiving Pigs
Peace and Greeting from Haiti. Friday
May 3, I traveled to Gros Morne about 5 hours drive from our city of Cap-Haiti to be and to
worship with our people there. Gros Morne is in the desert like kind of
nature. Water is hard to find especially during the dry times. At this time of
the year, they produce plenty of mangos which become a source of income for
many families. Since they have mangos, they are not interested in selling pigs
and pigs become rare and expensive. However we managed to find and to buy
20 pigs for the children. One pig was stolen just after few days. We
have been to Gors Morne before to share the goats to the
children. Many people were happy to us again this time.
Families and specially children who have received those pigs are very happy to
have them. We always share them after our Sunday service after we have
prayed for them and the families of the children receiving the pigs. The whole
church becomes the witness of what the love of Christ is doing in the world.
We praise God for your
love and your support which make possible for children to go schools with the
help of goats or pigs.
Yours in Haiti,
Nzunga & Kihomi
Dear Supporters,
This is the third journal from Nzunga’s trip to Gros Morne. What a perfect example of wholistic ministry! He has worshiped and prayed with the people of the Philadelphia church. He has brought the eye clinic staff and supplies to tend to there vision problems. His water team has dug a well and installed pump in a very dry land. Finally life changing pigs have been distributed to the poorest children of the village. It is a perfect example of how to show God’s love as well as tell them about Jesus.
We still need to raise approximately 8% more to have this wonderful ministry completely underwritten. Now is a great time for you to start giving regularly if you are not already. Now thru June your gift will be matched so you can double your donation. Tell others about this ministry and urge them to get involved.
In His Grace and Peace,
