Dear Loved Ones,
 
Greeting and peace to each one of you. Please let me introduce to you Hugue  Valentine, 5 years old girl. She came to our clinic with a very serious problem in her right eye. After examination, the doctor had to take it out because the eye has been damaged by cancer. Today she was there because it has swollen. We are praying that the cancer does not spread to the rest of her body, specially the brain.
 
This girl would not be able to be operated on and be checked up on every time without the support from The Restoring Sight for children. Coming from a poor family, nobody would know what the issue was with Hugue.
 
 On behalf all the children who have already benefited from this saving life project and those will continue to be cared for, we all say THANK YOU TO YOU ALL for your support without it we would not be able to present the love of Jesus to the poorest of the poor.

Dear Friends,

 

I don’t know what I should add to this journal.  I have a very close family member fighting cancer.  What’s she is going through is tough but she is getting the best care available.  Surgery, chemo therapy, radiation, plus advice from many, many experts on nutrition, genetics, etc. are involved.  The outlook is positive and a good out come is expected.  Then I look at the beautiful picture of Hugue.  The eye clinic is offering a little hope and has done what they can do.  Now prayer is all we can turn to.  Jesus railed against injustice in the world and asked us to work for a better day.  “On earth as it is in Heaven”.  Why does where you were born and how much money you have to mean life or death.  We must redouble our efforts to seek righteousness and justice for all.  Please pray for little Hague.
