Health Care Resources for You
Greetings!

It's been awhile since I last sent a newsletter and it's only because I've been traveling and working hard in my new role as Health Care Resource missionary for Ibero-America and the Caribbean.  Please continue to pray for me, travel mercies and the connections that are forming for this role to provide many more services for the needs in this region. Listed, below, you'll find several organizations that I have recently been working with.  I thought you might enjoy having information about them and potentially using them for your church, group or individual work around the world. I will also include some links for travel information, vaccines and recipes from many countries where I work or will be traveling to.  Enjoy and many blessings!

Have you ever been frustrated by the long lines at airports or in customs when returning to the US from a trip?  Let me tell you about a great resource to almost eliminate travel wait times: Global Entry.
Global Entry is a registering program for people who regularly travel across US borders or within the US by plane.  For more information click the following link:

Build-A-Bridge
The mission of Build-A-Bridge is to engage creative people and the transformative power of art making to bring hope and healing to children, families, and communities in the toughest places of the world.  BuildaBridge offers 3 unique programs featuring cross-cultural perspectives and arts-integrated approaches that are child-centered, trauma-informed and hope-infused:  Community, International and Institute for Arts and Transformation.
Our constituent audience consists of the lower 20% of the US and world's population who suffer in abject poverty, physical pain, homelessness and emotional suffering as a result of war, catastrophic natural disasters, human trafficking, abuse and neglect. BuildaBridge recognizes that these people desire to live with hope and joy, strong connections to family and local communities, fair and satisfactory employment, and meaningful visions for their future, and the future of their children.

Restoring Vision
RestoringVision is a non profit that supplies new reading and sunglasses to groups going to, or in, developing countries. We have been doing this for nearly 10 years and have supplied over 1.8M glasses to over 600 groups going to 75 countries. About 30% of the groups we supply are from churches doing global outreach. When people who have not been able to read The Bible put on a pair of readers, their lives are instantly transformed. Many people tell us that supplying the glasses is among the highlights of their trips. And it takes almost no training to dispense readers. (And none to dispense sunglasses.)

Travel Tips for everyone!
In this section you will find links to some of my favorite sites for information about different countries.  There are links for vaccine information specific to a country, how to register with the State Department for your trip (in case of emergencies), recipes of some of those foods you ate and just loved while traveling and finally some general travel tips from trusted sources.  You will be bookmarking these in your browser and using them in the future!  Maybe you can try a new recipe, like Sancocho, this weekend, just for fun!  Just click the highlighted links.
