Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting. The church hymnal says it clearly to count our blessings and we will see that they are too many to count. We count as a special blessing the privilege we have to connect with our former missionaries to Democratic Republic of Congo. They are the ones who have made us who we have become today. They sacrificed their life, gave the best they had and knew how to model us. If we can read and write, if we can stand in front of people, if we know Jesus, it is because they accepted to show us the way.

Our reconnaissance, our thankfulness will go behind our graves for what they have done in our country. Without their love, their assistance and their sacrificial spirit we don’t know where we would be.

As many of them they have gone to be with their Maker we say “ Matondo mingi sambu na kisalu ya mbote ya bo salaka na Congo” Thanks a lot for the good work they did in Congo.

Yours,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear Friends,

Nzunga and Kihomi always mention when they are speaking that they are the product of ABC missionaries that were in the Congo during the 50’s and 60’s.  Nzunga considers Leon Emmert a mentor that turned his life in the correct direction after his father died.  All of these wonderful people loved the Lord and said “Here I am, send me”.  I am sure there are hundreds of people that they influenced for Him during their many years on the field.  We will celebrate 200 years of foreign mission service next year at Green Lake.  See you there.

Blessings,
