Dear Loved Ones,
Peace of our born King to you. Many parents are becoming very conscious of the education of their children. In spite of the poor situation for the majority of them, they know that education is the way to go. This consciousness is being passed on to many children.
This is the case of the two children repeating their lesson after school for the next day. They are lucky to have a piece of cardboard on which to write what they are studying. I remember that I learned writing a, b, c & 1, 2, 3 on the ground/floor under the tree using charcoal. I would erase what I have written on the sand with my foot or my hands.
As we all celebrate the birth our Lord, let us pray for those who don’t have the minimum of life. Who knows! The future of Haiti may be at heir hands.
In Haiti,

Dear Friends,
The world is celebrating the passing of Nelson Mandela, a great leader who changed his world. One of his quotes is "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nzunga and Kihomi who did their lessons as children in the dirt are perfect examples of what education can do to change lives. The Haitian government is starting to do more to help educate their population which we all pray continues and remains a priority. Please pray that a Haitian Nelson Mandela is among these young people.
Blessings,
