Sharing Christ during carnival

Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting from the carnival country.

This is that time of the year when people enjoy the popular street dancing and music known as carnival. To celebrate this traditional and historical event Haitian musicians compose the most interesting music based on their culture. The country, the culture are honored in songs. It is also a time when those musicians tell those in power that the country is not well governed. They openly tell the politicians the truth as it is. Carnival offers a rare opportunity for many businesses.

During this period of the year, churches take their young persons away from the influence

of the world ,mainly that of the carnival. They have seminars and camps all over the

country to study the world of God.

I will be celebrating my carnival with our Baptist Church in Croix Hilaire in the Southern

part of the country where I will be speaking on the influence of a good Christian family

for the church, the community and the country. This will be an all day speaking on Sunday, Feb. 3. On Monday Feb.4, I will meet with a large crowd of young people coming from Port-au-Prince, the capital city and the surrounding area. I will be sharing with them the criterion for choosing a husband or wife. Suggestion anybody?

The youth of our Baptist Church of Haut-Limbe will be camping in our Baptist Church of La pLaine du Nord.

Kihomi will be visiting her community Health Evangelism & Evangelism agents in the regions of Plaisance and Pilate.

We are in need of your prayers for the success of the different Christian ministries going on in the country during this carnival period .

Yours truly,

Nzunga & Kihomi
