Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting and peace to each one of you. We need prayers of all of you. We had our last rains in November. Since then we are living for months without any rain. Everything is dry. Water pumps have dried up and people are suffering to get water.

In our village our people are being saved by the pump water from the university. Many times and many hours we go without any water running in our taps.

Last week I had my team hand dig a 45 foot deep well and did not get any sign of getting close to water. They gave up.

Last Sunday on my way coming back from the border city of Ouanaminthe,  I saw  cows that are bones only.

Kihomi who is in Port-au-Prince is sharing the same disastrous situation in the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Water is an issue.

Please keep us in your daily prayers so we can have some needed rains.

Yours in Haiti,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear Friends,

My friends in Pignon are reporting the same thing, severe drought.  It seems sometimes that Haiti goes through one crisis or another regularly.  Hurricanes, earthquakes, cholera, and now no rain.  Please pray they receive some much needed rain soon.

In Peace and Love,

Dennis Shewell
