Dear Loved Ones,

Sunday March 23, we worshiped in the Philadelpia Evangelical Church in the city of Gros Morne. After the service I had the time to share soccer balls with the children. The impact of soccer needs yet to be studied in Haiti. Soccer is the game and drives all of us fou, crazy. When watching the game there is no protestant, Catholic and voodoo believers. We are all just fans. There is no division and we all share our feeling, view points and our favorite players.

Thank you for thinking of soccer balls as a mean to reach out to people in this soccer loving country.

Dear Friends,

Soccer balls are loved in almost every country other than ours.  They are easy to take deflated but bring a small pump with you.  Frisbees are another easy to pack toy the kids love.  When with some native tribes east of the Andes in Peru we threw the kids Frisbees and they ran from them!!  Had to demonstrate they were catchable and fun before they would get close to them.

Blessings,

In His Name,

Dennis Shewell
