Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting. The eye clinic continues its mission of caring for the poor. In spite of the Chikungunya fever that has ravaged the country, our staff is working hard to help those in need.

This is the case of this poor lady of 83 years old who could not see because of cataract in both eyes. For 3 full years, she has been deprived of her sight.  Her big regret was that she could no longer see the members of her family and specially her grandchildren. After the operation of one eye, she is able to see again. She is rejoicing now that once both eyes are done, she will have a complete new vision.

Thank you for your support that makes operation like this one possible.

Dear Friends,

We talk a lot about restoring children’s sight but no one is turned away at the eye clinic.  Here is the story of an elderly lady that had lost her sight and the clinic was able to restore it.  I can’t imagine not being able to see my grand children so can understand her joy.  I hope you feel the same joy as you are a vital part of this ministry.  Without you she would stay blind.

The mosquito borne illness that Nzunga referenced is ravaging Haiti.  It is not normally fatal but is unbelievably painful and debilitating.  Aspirins prices have soared as these over-the-counter pain killers is all they have to fight it with.

In His Love,
