Dear Loved Ones,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2015.

This past Saturday December 12, 2014, Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff graduated over 3000 students in different disciplines. It organized three ceremonies: at 9 AM, 1 PM and 5 PM. We attended the 9 AM one.

Our daughter Nzunga Pambi got her baccalaureate in Political sciences with minor in social work. While finishing her classes, she was also helping teach a class with freshman students while doing her internship in the office of a congresswoman. She has very much enjoyed both experiences.

She will be taking two classes in international economic and micro economic to qualify for grade school in the field of international development.

While we rejoice over this achievement, we are also sad to notice that the person who would be the happiest in the world was not there.

We are talking about Mrs. Lilibeth de Lafuente. This servant of God came to the world to teach. She was so disciplined that parents and students had no other choices than to respect her in what she knew and how to best do it. She was the high school professor who supported us in the most difficult times with Pambi's education and impacted Pambi’s orientation in life. Mrs. De laFuente died less then two months after her husband's death and just months  away from this graduation. She had prayed and wished to see this day in Pambi's life.

In reality this graduation is for all of you who pray for us, support us in one way or another. Without you playing your part, Pambi would not have achieved this milestone in her life.

As we all graduate in the birthday of our Savior and in another New Year, we wish God’s blessings on each and every one of us.

Dear Friends,

Please rejoice with our brother and sister seeing their youngest pass an important milestone towards her life’s work.  We who have children of our own know what it takes to reach this day and see our prayers answered as they become productive adults.   All their smiles tell you how wonderful this day was for them.  I’m positive Pambi will make a difference!

Blessings,
