Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting from our hot and humid Haiti. We arrived home well and we are adjusting back to our daily life.

This Saturday September 5, 2015, I took a walk around our village to study the possibility of installing pumps for good and clean water. I could not believe what I saw. It looked to me like a Hollywood movie but it is a living reality we don't want to see or talk about. Hundreds and hundreds of our people depend on a small hole in the dried river bed to fetch their water for their daily use.

The line starts way before 4 AM to wait one his turn. It takes time to fill up one bucket with water. Deep down my heart I was asking myself how clean was this water.

All those families are people who are members of church. We see them every day without asking where they get their water.

I have the impression that we have not done anything yet. We have a long way to go in order to secure clean water and fight the water borne diseases.

Thank you for partnering with us in this fight of providing clean water.

Dear Friends,

I think the surprise Nzunga experienced when he found out the water situation in his village would happen to us if we looked around.  How many of our churches know the needs of their village and are engaged in doing something about it?  Homeless, addicted, single mothers, depressed, lonely, etc. are all out there.  While we are “in there” inside our church.   Jesus called us to minister to the least of us and we are not good at it.  Let us reexamine what we do with our time and money resources.  Maybe our priorities should change.  I can insure you we will be drilling wells in Nzunga’s village soon.

Because of His love,
