Dear Loved Ones,

Greetings. We continue to bless God for allowing us to be part of His helping hands at the eye clinic.  It is fascinating to see people of all ages come and leave happy when they get their treatment. Many of those treated would not be happy without this eye clinic.

We are called to care for people regardless of their economic status. In fact most of our patients are people with no big name, no title, and no fancy clothes. By looking at them one can easily tell that they are poor.

Last Tuesday we had 7 patients operated on. What a blessing to help them. One lady said that praying before the operation helped calm her fear and her anxiety.

I have heard many of them expressing their gratitude to God for the care they benefit here. We hear these expressions of gratitude, we see their expression of joy on their faces, but it is you, our loved Ones who deserve the thank-you words.

Please accept the love gratitude from our patients.

In Haiti,

Dear friends,

The Gospels record 6 stories of Jesus restoring sight to the blind.  Most likely He performed this miracle more times than were recorded.  To be blind in Haiti is not unlike biblical times as there is no recourse but to beg.  No safety net and little chance of help from anyone else as they are all desperately poor.  However God sent Dr Clark years ago to touch these people like He did and has sent Nzunga to keep it going.  Now they have a chance for a normal life because God has asked you to contribute funds so this can happen and you obeyed.  God bless you all.

Because of His love,
