Update on our situation in Haiti

Dear Loved Ones,

Greetings and may God bless you as you struggle to serve Him. This past weekend has been rich and colorful in events over here.

On Friday October 17, for the first time, the university organized the first reunion of all its alumni. It was amazing to see how many who showed up at this meeting. They were too many to count. In ten years of our ministries in Haiti, we have impacted many leaders of Haiti society today. Many of those who were our students are now owners of the small business; some are bankers, school teachers, directors of national and international organizations. We can truly say that our time in Haiti has not been in vain. Your support of mission has been producing fruit beyond what you can possibly imagine. Let glory be to God.

Saturday October 18, our general secretary, the Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Pierre and Sister Reverend Kihomi Ngwemi Nzunga traveled to Ouanaminthe where they met with men and women of nine churches. They talked about the women's association and the possible women's conference coming up next year. It was a blessing time for all those who were present.

Friday 24 October, my own assistant professor, Pastor Henri Claude Telusma, four years under my mentoring, will be defending his Master of Divinity thesis on enculturation of Haitian churches. I will be one of the three jury members questioning him on his paper. I will also be presiding over the jury. So from 11 AM to 2:30 PM, the debate will be really heated.

Next Saturday October 25, Sister Kihomi and the general secretary will be in Hinche visiting churches in the Plateau region to prepare the conference.

Please, be praying for us as we struggle to serve the Lord in this difficult time.

We are more encouraged because you are behind our ministry to pray and to support us. Yours efforts and your sacrifices are not in vain. Mission is our only way to go to reach thousands over here.

Yours truly,

Nzunga & Kihomi & Pambi
