Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting. In the photos, you will notice how ignorance and poverty have and are still destroying people in our poor nations. The man is blind from glaucoma. In spite of being blind he was supposed to apply drops every day in his eyes to keep the pressure down. Not having means to keep buying those drops, the poor man has no choice:  sit down and wait.

In poor nations millions do not know about insurance and could not afford it if it as available. This fact alone has caused deaths of many many people who would be living otherwise.

The pressure of his eyes went way up and popped the left eye open. Where to go now? To the Haitian Baptist Convention where they do not reject people.

On Tuesday May 30, the doctor worked on the man taking the whole eye out.

Thank you for being the feet and the hands of the One who did not reject the blind and the crippled.

In Haiti,

Yours,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear friends,

I have little more to say about this wonderful ministry in a very poor and uneducated land.  Every day they are making a difference for so many.  We have no idea how many are living much improved lives due to the eye clinic. Thank you for helping to keep it open.

Peace,
