Dear friends:
The storm Mathew left with heavy results on many indigenous towns and cities in the southern states of Mexico.
The highlands of Chiapas, where we live and minister has been severely hit by the storm. Many of the villages where we work together with pastors, women and seminary students are isolated. Many roads and bridges are blocked, damaged or have simply disappeared under landslides, taken by the rivers or have sunk.
With news of houses destroyed by landslides and death toll on the rising, our students are worried about their families and some will go tomorrow to see if they can reach their villages. We need your prayers!

La tormenta Mathew dejó resultados muy fuertes para muchos pueblos indígenas y ciudades en los estados del sur de México.
El estado de Chiapas, donde vivimos y ministramos, se ha visto gravemente afectado. Casi todas las comunidades donde trabajamos juntos con los pastores, las mujeres y los estudiantes del seminario se encuentran aisladas. Muchas carreteras y puentes están bloqueados, dañados o simplemente han desaparecido bajo deslizamientos de tierra, por ríos o se han hundido.
Con las noticias de casas destruidas por derrumbes y el número de muertos en aumento, nuestros estudiantes están preocupados por sus familias y algunos irán mañana para ver si pueden llegar a sus aldeas. ¡Necesitamos sus oraciones!
