Our hen house!

Remember the chickens?
Because I know many of you are wondering about the chickens, I want to tell you how they are doing!
The chickens have mature into 8 young hens and 2 roosters, but have yet to give us eggs! We have now 10 of the original 12 chickens. We lost two of the chickens either to the neighbor's cat or they just wandered out of the seminary without knowing how to return! We keep the doors of the seminary open while classes are given, plus we didn't have a hen pen till this last month. We have an older rooster, the king among all.
My son, Ricardo, who along with Maria (our younger daughter) visited us for a week, said that this older rooster had a broken clock in his head, because it sings at very strange hours!
We fixed a hen house with recycled material and now they don't get wet when it rains. They seem happy and we look forward to lots of eggs to nurture the students at the seminary. Hmm and maybe to make one or two birthday cakes!
Help us pray for these beautiful chickens, so that they reproduce with health and have many little chicks! And thanks for your solidary gift, helping us develop this initiative as a selfsustainable proyect!

¿Recuerdan los pollitos?
Porque sé que muchos de ustedes se preguntan sobre los pollos, quiero decirles como vamos. Los pollos han madurado y sa han convertido en 8 hermosas gallinas y 2 gallitos jóvenes. ¡Pero todavía no dan huevos! De los 10 huevos que empollaron perdimos 2 pollitos. ¡Estos últimos probablemente en boca del gato del vecino o simplemente salieron a caminar a la calle sin saber cómo regresar! Mantenemos las puertas del seminario abiertas mientras se dan las clases y no teniamos un gallinero hasta hace apenas como mes y medio. Tenemos un gallo grande, el rey de todos.
Mi hijo, Ricardo, quien junto con María (nuestra hija menor) nos visitó durante una semana, dijo que este gallo grande tenía el reloj descompuesto o confundido, porque canta en las horas mas extrañas.
Construimos el gallinero con material reciclado y ahora las gallinas no se mojan cuando llueve. Parecen contentas y esperamos que nos den un montón de huevos para alimentar a los estudiantes en el seminario. ¡Hmm, y tal vez para hacer una o dos bizcochos (pasteles) de cumpleaños!
¡Ayúdanos a orar por estos hermosos pollos, de modo que se reproducen con salud y tengan muchos pollitos! ¡Y muchas gracias por tu regalo solidario, que nos ayuda a desarrollar esta iniciativa en un proyecto autosustentable!
